"Jamie Anderson, Make a High School Boy's Dream Come True"

You've seen the videos where a young man or woman asks a celebrity to go to the prom with them. Olympian Jamie Anderson from South Lake Tahoe has just received one of those requests.

The friends of Homestead High School student Nir Voloshin are trying to get his request out and hope that Jamie will see it, and respond.

In a letter from Voloshin's friend Shahar Hart, he says they would like to see Jamie "make his dreams come true,"

Here is what Voloshin said:
"My name is Nir Voloshin and I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area, and my dream prom date would be with none other than Olympian Snowboarder Jamie Anderson!! I know it's a long shot, but I'm foolish enough to at least try! "We live in Sunnyvale, Ca and we go to Homestead High School"
