South Tahoe Association of Realtors donates Easter baskets to local youth

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Local Realtors recently donned rabbit ears and grabbed empty Easter baskets to fill with donations for 80 children in the South Lake Tahoe community.

The South Tahoe Association of Realtors (STAR) and their Community Service Committee combined their funds with donated money to shop for items to fill Easter baskets.

The committee was able to donate 80 baskets to the Family Resource Center and Live Violence Free Center in South Lake Tahoe. These organizations give the baskets to kids who otherwise would not receive anything this season.

The STAR Community Service Committee of Rachael Moore, Jaime Souers, Cindy MacLean, Jill Moffett and Jana Nelson represents more than 300 REALTORĀ® members in South Lake Tahoe,

"REALTORSĀ® love the local community and enjoy giving back to it," said Jana Nelson. "Throughout the year the committee works to raise money to donate to organizations such as the Family Resource Center, Live Violence Free Center, Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless and their newest project, the South Lake Tahoe Warm Room, as well as other services and charities."

STAR and their Community Service Committee would like to thank K-mart for their generous participation in helping local children.
