South Lake Tahoe community help needed during Spring Clean up Day

May 6, 2017 - 9:00am As the snow melts from this record-breaking winter, the litter and debris that has been covered up for months is starting to show. Volunteers are invited to get involved and help kick off this summer with a clean, litter-free town at the Clean Tahoe Program’s 2nd Annual “Spring Clean” event on Saturday, May 6th from 9am-noon.
Volunteers will be picking up litter from neighborhoods all across South Tahoe, from Stateline to Meyers. Interested volunteers can join a group that’s already formed in their neighborhood or suggest a new location. Find cleanup locations and register at www.clean-tahoe.org/spring-clean or call 530-544-4210.
Cleanup supplies will be provided. All volunteers are invited to a free lunch at Lakeview Commons afterwards and will be entered to win tickets to see one of Jack Johnson's concerts at Harveys this summer.
