Event Date:
May 19, 2017 - 7:30pm Join the South Tahoe High School Digital Media Arts Department and Performing Arts Booster Association as they host their first movie night on May 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's viewing room.
With a plan to exact revenge on a mythical shark that killed his partner, oceanographer Steve Zissou rallies a crew that includes his estranged wife, a journalist, and a man who may or may not be his son. Join us for a curated viewing of Wes Anderson's master piece The Life Aquatic. Themes and postmodernism presented by Lacey Chappel and Travis Steil to help each viewer chart their own course through this cinematic delight. It will be a little pretentious and a lot of fun!
"I'm going to find it and I'm going to destroy it. I don't know how yet. Possibly with dynamite." - Steve Zissou
