South Lake Tahoe Fall Festival and Chili Cook Off

September 13, 2014 - 10:00am The Third Annual Fall Festival and Chili Cook Off will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex on Rufus Allen Blvd. Admission is free to the event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be vendors, music, a cake walk, and fun for the kids.
The highlight will be the Chili Cook off, with Jody Filgo and Super-Cali-Chili-Tastic defending her title as last year's winner. The Chili Cook Off will begin at 11 a.m. and run until three pm,3 p.m., offering a chance to buy your bowl to taste chili from the entrants, then vote for your favorite. This year's contest will include a prize for People's Choice and Judge's Choice.
