Genoa's Sweet Sippin' Sundays

The last SWEET SIPPIN' SUNDAY for the season is right around the corner. The leaves are turning and the weather is supposed to be beautiful, so be sure to mark your calendar now for this Sunday, 10/5, 1-4pm.

The third year of this popular event, which is sponsored by the Greater Genoa Business Assn. (GGBA), is a well-regarded Northern Nevada event. The committee (Kim Copél, Christine Adamson and Nanette Toland) says "We are very proud of our event...our sippers love SWEET SIPPIN’ SUNDAYS and tell us it is such an awesome location to sip and stroll and that they always enjoy themselves while helping us support local charities such as Suicide Prevention Network, DAWG, Douglas County Historical Society, Family Support Council, Kids and Horses and the GGBA."

The charity this Sunday is Kids and Horses, the cocktails will be made with rum and our music will be provided by the ever popular “Dougie L. and the Lost Reverends of the High Sierra”. In addition to our monthly $100 Genoa Bucks prize, each of the participating businesses has donated a prize to make this last SWEET SIPPIN' SUNDAY of the season one to remember!
