Letter: Larry Reilly for LTUSD School Board

Student success, teacher support and a district where all students have access to highly qualified teachers and cutting edge curriculum are some of Larry Reilly’s goals if elected School Board representative for LTUSD area 1. Larry believes that given the opportunity, supported by a strategic, goal oriented plan all students can succeed.

Larry has been an educator in the classroom for the past thirty-nine years. He knows firsthand what students and teachers need to be successful. Larry’s classroom experience gives him knowledge that no other candidates have; he understands education from the classroom to the Board room. Larry has also been a coach in our community; understanding the power of motivation is second nature to him. We are at a pivotal point in education, we have beautiful campuses with many options for students and parents; it is now time to become an outstanding academic district. I can think of no one more qualified than Larry Reilly to lead LTUSD in that direction.

It is time we vote for an educator, with experience in curriculum and instruction, who understands the Common Core to be that voice. Larry Reilly is my choice for Area 1 School Board Representative.
