Tahoe Prosperity Center Talk at SLT Library

Heidi Hill Drum, Executive Director and Bev Ducey, Program Manager of the Tahoe Prosperity Center, will bring everyone up to date on their organization’s work to improve high speed Internet and cell phone service around the lake through the Connected Tahoe Project.

Learn what the Center found in its recent survey gathering data from over 900 users to see if Internet speeds around the Tahoe basin are as fast as carriers claim, and what they see as next steps in improving connectivity for residents and visitors. South Lake Tahoe Library is also impacted by the need to improve Internet service. Branch Manager Katharine Miller will share our current situation and the work that is going into improving service for library users.
