Interested in representing your city on the El Dorado County Commission on Aging? They are accepting application from those interested in serving until February 1.
The Commission on Aging (COA) is an advisory Committee to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors that works with the Director of the Area Agency on Aging on
community interests and issues faced by seniors in El Dorado County. This includes, but is not limited to, developing community centers in strategic areas of the county to make services accessible to all seniors. The group also promotes services that help seniors to remain in their homes and prevent elder abuse.
The Commission on Aging meets on the third Thursday of each month (except July
and December) from 9:30 a.m to 12:00 p.m. at various locations throughout the County.
Applications may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office located at 1901 Airport Rd., South Lake Tahoe, California, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and are also available on the City of South Lake Tahoe’s website at www.cityofslt.us – City ClerkBoards and Commissions.
The City Council will be making an appointment at their February 7th Council Meeting.
