Canceled - Wylder Resort Hope Valley history series continues with "Into the Jaws of Hell"

Wylder Resort Hope Valley continues its Eastern Sierra history series on Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m. with a 50-minute presentation on "Into the Jaws of Hell."

Local historian David Woodruff recounts the dramatic and heroic tale of how forlorn and desperate argonauts found demise in the desert while searching for a shortcut to the California goldfields, and christened the chilling name upon their fatal location, Death Valley.

The free program is open to the public and will be at the Wylder General Store, locate 1/10th of a mile east of Wylder Resort on CA Hwy 88 in Hope Valley. Call David at 760 920-8061 for more information, or to confirm if there is inclement weather.
