Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy hosts and evening with Jon Rockwood

NORDEN, Calif. - Sugar Bowl Ski Team & Academy is excited to announce the launch of the first of a 3-part speaker series this Sunday, January 15, at the Village Hall in Sugar Bowl Village. SBSTA’s Head Snow Rangers Coach, Jon Rockwood, will kick off the series with “Passion, Powder, Perspective,” a night of stories, images, and video highlighting why we do what we do.
Doors open at 5:15 pm. While this is a free event, entrance to the event must be reserved in advance at https://bit.ly/SBSTASpeakerSeries1
The second of the series will feature SBA Alum, US Ski Team Member, and 2022 US Alpine Olympic team member Luke Winters. Winters will speak about the Path to Excellence. This event is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, February 23.
On Saturday, March 18, author Broughton Coburn will wrap up the series. Coburn authored “The Vast Unknown,” a riveting chronicle of the iconic first American expedition to Mt. Everest.
