SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Ready for a new twist on a book club in South Lake Tahoe? Join Cuppa Tahoe on Wednesday, January 31 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. when they offer the golden ticket - a book, a drink, a goody bag, and a presentation by the author.

Author and South Lake Tahoe resident Suzanne Roberts will be there with her book Almost Somewhere.

Join them for a night of good literature and the warmth of community. Celebrate the magic of storytelling together, over a steaming cuppa.

The cost is $35 and tickets are available at Cuppa Tahoe (they are transferable since they know things happen). You get the book at the time of ticket purchase, then a drink and goody bag at the event.

Cuppa Tahoe is located in the Crossing at Tahoe Valley, 2054 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Candid and funny and, finally, wise, Almost Somewhere is not just the whimsical coming-of-age story of a young woman ill-prepared for a month in the mountains but also the reflection of a distinctly feminine view of nature. Her story of a month in the backcountry—confronting bears, snowy passes, broken equipment, injuries, and strange men—is as much about finding a woman’s way into outdoor experience as it is about the natural world she so eloquently describes.
