Tahoe STEM Academy has several classes in January and February for area youth

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe STEM Academy is offering a series of classes for local youth, from 3D Printing to making LED neon signs.

The academy provides interactive, project-based instruction to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. Founded by STHS graduate David Wise who is an MIT engineer with over a decade of STEM experience, Tahoe STEM Academy gives budding scientists or engineers the tools, technology, and opportunity to explore, create, and expand their minds beyond a traditional classroom.

The classes listed below are all offered at their permanent location in the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe's main campus.

January 15 - Custom Etched Glass Tumblers
