No big changes in the South Lake Tahoe forecast: Sunny, mild, dry

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - High pressure continues to dominate the weather pattern with dry conditions through this week along with a gradual warming trend. Strengthening surface inversions and light winds may enhance haze
and pollutant buildup early this week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.

While the ridge will mostly eliminate chances of Pacific moisture or

a decent wetting storm to push in from the west for the next 7-10 days, it does leave the `storm` door open for an inside slider-type system. NWS Reno said there are hints of a transition to a wetter pattern the last five days of January.
