Kudos: Grad Night 2023 thanks Vail Resorts for use of Cal Lodge at Heavenly

Once again, Vail Resorts has shown its generosity and spirit for local giving by granting to your local Safe and Sober Grad Night Organization the use of Heavenly’s California Lodge for their 2023 Grad Night Event. The resort's Epic Promise grant program is a big supporter of our efforts (#EpicPromise).

The Grad Night festivities at Heavenly’s California Lodge will take place on Friday, June 16, 2023, starting at 9 p.m. and lasting until 2:30 a.m. With the efforts of the Grad Night team and endless volunteers, we transform Heavenly’s California Lodge to create the event of a lifetime for all the graduating seniors in our unique South Lake Tahoe community. The decoration team is able to be as creative as possible through the use of years and years of purchased and homemade decorations. We cover almost every surface of the California Lodge, transforming it from our beloved ski base camp into a world of glitz, glam, and surprise to honor our South Tahoe and Mt. Tallac 2023 graduating seniors.

Each senior who attends will enjoy a special, fun-filled, action-packed Safe and Sober Celebration of their achievements. The night will be filled with many different, fun, and exciting events, there is something to do for everyone. Weather permitting, we also aim to provide outdoor activities to be enjoyed by all. Multiple raffles and cash prizes are given out throughout the night for the participants who are present. And we are sure to provide loads of food to feed our hungry seniors, volunteers, and vendors including plenty to drink along with sweet treats for a midnight snack to keep them jazzed for our 2 headline events. A gift for each senior that attends this event will be passed out as they leave the event to remind them of the amazing event and all the memories they’ve created.

All in all, as a team of dedicated volunteers, we strive to build a Safe and Sober environment to celebrate the achievements of our South Tahoe and Tallac High School graduating seniors each year. This spectacular event will continue to evolve, improve and elevate with the continued generosity of Vail Resorts.
