Saying "I Love You" with flowers keeps florist hopping on Valentine's Day

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The scent of flowers greeting you when walking into Enchanted Florist is a fabulous experience any time of the year, but during a major flower holiday it is even more of a treat for your senses.
With just a few days left until Valentine's Day, owner Karen Estes and her team are busy preparing for an expected 175 flower arrangements to be purchased for loved ones by Sunday. Buckets of flowers including carnations, roses, lilies, and baby's breath line the store which is located on Emerald Bay road adjacent to the South Lake Tahoe Goodwill store.
While many wait until Sunday for deliveries and to pick up arrangements Estes is encouraging people to plan head. She has a "Honey, I couldn't wait for Valentine's Day" special for Friday deliveries (10 percent off if you use the code 'Tahoe Love'), and is also encouraging flowers for Saturday. That way, flowers are there to greet your loved one when they wake up!
Planning for next year's Valentine's Day flowers starts on February 15 since the coming months are busy in the flower business. They jump right into Mother's Day and wedding season so planning is essential. Estes has a big wedding on February 21 at Edgewood so there will be no time to catch a breath after February 14.
This is the fourth Valentine's Day Estes has owned Enchanted Florist and her team is ready for the big day. She has five designers and three delivery drivers along with a dispatcher all for the holiday, a staffing plan she'll repeat for Mother's Day.
Flowers are a great purchase any time of the year, whether for a holiday, special occasion or for yourself. When Enchanted Florist has a few extra flowers there will be a Facebook and Instagram post saying, "Honk for Flowers" and those who pull into the shop and honk get the free flowers (so follow them for the messages).
All year long those who call into Enchanted Florist are greeted by Estes who says, "It's a beautiful day at Enchanted Florist, this is Karen, how can I make you smile?" It's that atmosphere at the popular that has earned her two "Best Of Tahoe" awards.
