The Studio selected to represent region at international dance festival

The Studio of South Lake Tahoe has been chosen to represent the Northern California region at the prestigious international dance festival, Dance Excellence, held in Los Angeles from March 31- April 6, 2024. The announcement The Studio dancers would be attending was made one year ago, and since then they have been diligently rehearsing weekly to present original choreography at the festival.

Established in 1992, this renowned festival annually unites dancers from across the globe during the spring season to partake in workshops led by top industry professionals, showcase their talent at renowned venues, and revel in each other's artistry.

A group of 13 Studio dancers, accompanied by four parents and the Studio's director, Miss Ashley, will journey to Los Angeles to participate in this renowned festival. The dancers will be performing at the festival and Universal Studios. This achievement has been the culmination of a year-long endeavor involving meticulous planning, dedicated fundraising efforts, and rigorous preparation.

The Studio dancers extend their gratitude to everyone who contributed to their fundraising efforts. Special "Thank You" to the Lake Tahoe Shining Stars for their assistance in helping reach Dance Excellence.
