SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Shops at Heavenly Village has scheduled the popular East Egg hunt on Sunday, April 9 at 10 a.m. Children aged 10 and end can enter the festivities and have a chance at some of the 15,000 eggs filled with candy and toys. Multiple eggs contain cash with a total of $1,000 being given out

The cost is $5 per child.

“The annual easter egg hunt is one of our favorite events of the year. We see visitation from across the nation as well as locals. The egg hunt is also one of our largest day trip events of the year from our valuable neighbors from the east and west. I can’t stress enough how much we appreciate their visitation. Hope to see you in the village,” said Gary Casteel Jr. CEO of Trans Sierra Investments, The Shops at Heavenly Village.

Kids can also enjoy brunch with the Easter Bunny before and after the event at Fire and Ice restaurant just steps away from the egg hunt grounds for just $20. For adults, $14.99 bottomless mimosas will be available at brunch.

Additionally, a Build-a-Bunny station will be set up for the kids to stuff their own Heavenly Village souvenirs for just $15.

“We produce many events throughout the year, but the egg hunt is one of my favorites. A little chaotic at times to say the least, but so fun to watch the kids clean 20,000 eggs from the grass in a matter of minutes!!! Thank you to the volunteers, Sun West, the staff from Bloom Nightclub, Fire and Ice, and the Casteel family for supporting our community the way they do,” said organizer Dreu Murin.

Club 100 will also be on-site for a little warm-up for the kids prior to charging the egg hunt grounds. Tickets are already on sale for just $5 and will sell out quickly. Visit the Shops at Heavenly Village website at shopsatheavenlyvillage.com to secure your spot.
