South Lake Tahoe City Council Holds Split Meeting Tuesday
Submitted by paula on Tue, 02/18/2014 - 9:12am
The South Lake Tahoe City Council is holding their normal 9 a.m. meeting on Tuesday, as well as a second session at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at the airport.
The morning meeting will contain several agenda items, including the Harrison Project bid approval.
The evening session will have only one agenda item, parking meters. A group opposed to having parking meters in South Lake Tahoe withdrew an initiative entitled "An Initiative to Prohibit Charges for Parking on City Streets" and the council will consider adoption of the new initiative that calls for a June 4, 2013 ballot measure.
All meetings are aired on local cable and on the internet.
