Douglas County opens 2023-24 Community Grant grant program for non-profits

Douglas County has opened its grant cycle, giving all not-for-profit agencies a chance to apply for funding. All interested must complete and submit a grant application. Funding this year is limited and not all requests will be granted or fully funded.

Each applicant is strongly encouraged to review the evaluation criteria while preparing the grant application. All agencies who have submitted grant applications by the deadline are invited to attend the Audit Committee meeting when community grant recommendations are discussed, deliberated, and announced. They are also invited to the Board of County Commissioners meeting where the resolution is adopted and certificates are presented to grantees.

Please visit the Community Grant website at: https://www.douglascountynv.gov/cms/communitygrant for real-time updates on the process and the dates of the Board meetings.

All grant awards are conditioned on the Board of County Commissioners appropriating sufficient funding for the Community Grant Program during the grant cycle, and approving the grant award resolution Please note that all applications and documentation submitted for this grant cycle will become public record.

Federal Income Tax Returns will remain confidential.
