Kiwanis holding public fentanyl awareness meeting

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra is inviting the South Lake Tahoe community to an informational meeting on fentanyl on Wednesday, February 21. This dangerous drug took the lives of four people earlier this month in South Lake Tahoe.

The informational meeting will be held in the Aspen Room of Lake Tahoe Community College starting at 5:30 p.m. on This room is adjacent to the library.

They will be introducing some videos and they will have local officials on hand to answer questions from the public. It will last approximately one hour.

The Tahoe Sierra Kiwanians ask that you invite your neighbors and friends to be more informed about this ‘Killer’ drug.
