CASA Box Lunch fundraiser back, orders now being accepted

The 26th annual CASA Kids Box Lunch fundraiser is back, and this year celebrates its 30th anniversary of serving the community! This time-honored tradition returns with expanded choices and three drive-through locations in El Dorado County. Meals will be picked up at these locations on Thursday, April 7, including one in South Lake Tahoe.

Fresh sandwich, or salad, chips, cookie, Barsotti juice, and a CASA stories booklet all packaged in a reusable insulated lunch tote bag, and delivered to your business or school by 12:00 p.m.

You also can pick up your lunch order at one of their three drive-thru locations in El Dorado County from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.:

El Dorado Hills Rolling Hills Church
South Lake Tahoe County Library

There are two sandwich and one salad choice, all of which come in a reusable lunch tote bag. Each box lunch is $13.50.

Choices:

Roasted turkey & bacon with ranch on sliced sourdough bread (includes chips, juice, and cookie)

Ham, bacon & Swiss with honey mustard on sliced sourdough bread (includes chips, juice, and cookie)

Greek Salad: Tossed greens, olives, tomato, onion, cucumber, pepperoncini, and feta paired with Mediterranean vinaigrette (includes juice and cookie)

They are also offering the option to sponsor a lunch for a community first responder. (CASA will handle and deliver orders the day of. NO PICK UP NEEDED FOR THIS)

Your box lunch order funds CASA advocates. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers receive special training on working with children who have suffered from abuse or neglect. They talk with teachers, counselors, and social workers, as well as standing up with them in court to advise the judge on the child's best interest and safe placement.
