Numerous power outages reported around Lake Tahoe

LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Liberty crews are working on restoring power to almost 6,000 customers around Lake Tahoe. Crews will continue to work around the clock to restore power.

Due to poor road conditions, remote access challenges, heavy snow, falling trees, and/or the nature of repairs required, there may be a delay in getting power restored, according to Liberty.

An outage map is available here https://myaccount.libertyenergyandwater.com/portal/#/PreOutages and each outage shows an estimated restoral time. For example, 17 customers in Meyers could expect their power back by 12:30 p.m., there is a transformer issue in the Wildwood area affecting 14 customers, and power is expected up by noon, and the 198 customers near Washoan without power can expect theirs restored by 2 p.m.
