Wylder Hope Valley history talk on Death Valley - A Nice Place to Visit, Tourism Below Sea Level

Wylder Resort Hope Valley will host another history program on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. Local historian David Woodruff presents "A Nice Place to Visit-Tourism Below Sea Level."

How did a location best known for producing laundry soap with one of the least marketable names imaginable, Death Valley, come to be one of the “must-see” destinations for travelers and adventurers the world over? Using rare and one-of-a-kind vintage photos, he’ll recount the improbable story in a free 50-minute slide show.
