Spooner Summit Cleanup and Outreach Day

Event Date:
March 25, 2023 - 9:00am

The unofficial sled hill at Spooner Summit is an annual hotspot for winter-time litter pollution. Shattered plastic sleds are left behind, and their remains can hurt wildlife and lake clarity.

Be a part of the solution! Visit the League to Save Lake Tahoe outreach booth at the sledding hill on March 25 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and learn how to be a Tahoe Blue Gooder and show off your "slediquette." Then, join Tahoe community members and visitors to clean up the area and help Keep Tahoe Blue!

Visit keeptahoeblue.org/spooner-summit-cleanup-outreach-day to sign up.

The sled hill is located at the intersection of SR28 and US50.
