Registration open for spring and summer junior tennis camps at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club

Spring and summer junior tennis camps are now open for registration at the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club. The camps will be led by the club’s head pro, Dave
Nostrant, a USPTA Elite Pro, has decades of experience teaching all ages and
abilities. The junior programs are open for youth ages 5 and over. Register online at www.zctennis.com/schedule/junior-tennis/.
The season kicks off with a 6-week after-school spring tennis camp starting on Tuesday, May 7. Practices are one afternoon per week and separated by grade level with 2nd/3rd graders on Tuesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Kinder & 1st graders on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and 4th/5th graders on Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $90 for K&1, $120 for grades 2-5. The price is for the full 6 weeks and classes are limited to 12 students.
Summer camps for ages 5 to 12 will run June 17 – 20, July 8 – 11, July 15 – 18, Aug 5 – 8, and Aug 12 – 15, 2024.
Ages 10-12: 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. -- $65 per week
Ages 7-9: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. -- $56 per week
Ages 5-6: 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. -- $40 per week
Summer camps for ages 13-17 will run July 1-3 and July 29-31 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for $100 per week.
Also, mark your calendars for the Annual Juniors’ Free Tennis Clinic on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Youngsters aged 4-12 will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tennis for free from a professional at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club. Dave Nostrant and Bob Beut, USPTA-certified instructors, will lead the juniors with the assistance of players from the club. The clinic is open to students throughout the Lake
Tahoe Basin as well as the Carson Valley. Limited to 48 participants, registration for the clinic will open in April.
