Two-day South Lake Tahoe vaccine clinic

The City of South Lake Tahoe is partnering with El Dorado County in holding a vaccine clinic Sunday and Monday, March 21-22 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The clinic will take place at the South Tahoe Recreation Center at 1180 Rufus Allen Boulevard for those with appointments only.

The vaccinations are only for eligible populations, including those 65+ or in the appropriate tier. Information is also available on the State's COVID-19 page at https://covid19.ca.gov/vaccines/.

Those who work in Food/Agriculture, Education/Childcare, and Emergency Services are all in the current tier being vaccinated as well as those age 16-64 who have underlying health conditions. This includes the essential workforce inclding grocery, pharmacy, convenience store employees, and workers supporting restaurant carry-out and quick serve food operations, including food preparation, carry-out and delivery food employees. Appointments can be made starting Wednesday morning at https://www.edcgov.us/Government/hhsa/Pages/EDCCOVID-19-clinics.aspx. Signing up will be through the county’s website.

To accommodate the anticipated crowds, Rufus Allen Boulevard will be closed to thru traffic from Pickett to Lyons while the clinic is happening. Eligible people
with an appointment need to come to the clinic through Lyons Avenue.
