SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Going to the movies and dining at a restaurant are both activities not recommended by health departments and government due to the possible spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, but a South Lake Tahoe restaurant has a solution to both.
On Friday, March 20, Chicken in a Barrel will show a silent movie for those driving in and parking in front of their big wall, which is perfect as a movie screen. Drive in, park, order food by phone or online, and their staff will bring it out to you. All diners must eat in their cars, but to make the evening a fun one, they are showing a Charlie Chaplin silent movie.
The movie, which is showing for free, will be showing starting at dusk.
Chicken in a Barrel is located at 2100 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe - across from the fire station. Their phone number is (530) 600-4480.
