Clothiers say goodbye to community after honoring daughter on 13th anniversary of tragic accident

On March 20, 2008, Emily Clothier, a 14-year-old South Lake Tahoe resident, was training with the Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation when she struck a tree on the Stagecoach Trail. The South Tahoe High freshman was care-flighted to Barton but it was too late and she died from her injuries.
This Saturday, March 20, 2021, Emily's parents Steve and Patti will be honoring their daughter on the 13th anniversary of her death with a quick gathering at 1:30 p.m. on Emily's Run.
On Sunday, March 21, the Clothiers will be saying goodbye to the community as they prepare to leave after 23 years to live closer to family. There will be a send off at Lake Tahoe AleWorX at 4:00 p.m.
