South Tahoe Public Utility District to waive late fees and suspend disconnections

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - To assist customers during COVID-19, South Tahoe Public
Utility District’s Board of Directors just approved waiving late fees for bills due at the end of March and suspending service disconnections for non-payments.
“South Tahoe Public Utility District is your public utility, and we want to do all that we can to support you during these unique times,” says John Thiel, General Manager. “I want you to know that we have taken additional steps to make sure your water and wastewater services are safe and secure under any circumstance.”
