South Shore concierge service provides free grocery delivery for seniors and those in need

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A South Lake Tahoe-based concierge service is now offering free grocery delivery to seniors over the age of 65 and to those in need.

Tahoe Warm Welcome has been providing home and guest services to homeowners and visitors to the Lake Tahoe Basin since 2006. Operated by two long-time locals with over 30 years of customer service experience, they are no expanding what they offer during the coronavirus pandemic to include free shopping services for seniors and anti-viral sterilization cleaning packages for the home.

Edward Bedwell and Lisa Mascitelli, owners of Tahoe Warm Welcome Concierge, saw a need in the community for the delivery of groceries. Customers order and pay for the groceries online, and the pair will pick them up and deliver for free if a senior or person in need. There is a small fee if not one of those categories.

Besides shopping, Tahoe Warm Welcome does year-round property maintenance, cleaning, and handyman, local contact services to homeowners with a wide range of guest services including grocery delivery, chef services, decorating Christmas trees and deep cleaning and anti-viral sterilization of homes.

"During the peak season, we have been blessed to meet people from all over the world," said Mascitelli. "We have many repeat clients and are especially fond of the Texan family we had the pleasure of planning and coordinating their 30+ family reunion 3 years in a row."

! Their grocery order took 2 trips to the store. It was weeks of planning and 5 days of non-stop work but the reward of receiving a hug from all 30 family members was well worth it!
