City of South Lake Tahoe to vaccine 1500 residents in two-day clinic

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The City of South Lake Tahoe is hosting its second two-day vaccination clinic at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. People with appointments drove through on Sunday, April 18 and the next group is going through on the 19th. In total, 1,500 members of the community will receive a vaccine during the clinic.

This is a collaborative effort with South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue and other City employees, El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, El Dorado County Department of Public Health and 70 volunteers from Lake Valley Fire, Cal Tahoe JPA Paramedics, South Tahoe Action Team (STAT) and the California Conservation Corps (CCC).

The City plans to continue vaccination efforts with monthly clinics until further notice. Check the City's website and social media for upcoming clinics. Information will also be carried on South Tahoe Now.
