SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Tahoe High School Drama Department, under the direction of Ethan Niven, will be performing The Servant of Two Masters for the next two weekends, April 28-30 and May 5-7. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. and the Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.

The Servant of Two Masters is a comedy by the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni written in 1746. It has been adapted by Oded Gross and Tracy Young, with music, and additional lyrics by Paul James Pendergas.

This rousing slapstick comedy features Gilberto Aguirre as Truffaldino, a very hungry servant who tries to serve two masters without anyone noticing. With a zany plot featuring lost love, mistaken identity, and lots of mix-ups, this Renaissance classic will keep you laughing and wanting to join in the fun! Carlo Goldoni wrote this in 1746 but this version has been updated for our Tahoe audiences.

The show features Madeline Jones, Maelyn Rios, Alyssa Skotvold, Aiden McKinney, Neo Harness, Hannah Kelso, Mannix Berendt, Jillian Arnold, Emma Zion, Leanora Hernandez, and Victor Zepeda. Please join them and bring your friends for a laugh-a-minute evening that is sure to delight.

Tickets are $10 for adults and students 18 and under are $5. They can be purchased at https://sths.myschoolcentral.com/asbworks/(S(ncnlzg5jaqhs0w5c3iolgn2t))/apps/webstore/pages/WebStore.aspx.

The play will be shown in the TADA Theatre at South Tahoe High.
