South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue hosting Wildfire Safety Expo

Event Date:
May 14, 2022 - 11:00am

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue will be hosting the
annual Wildfire Safety Expo on Saturday, May 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at South Tahoe Middle School.

The Wildfire Safety Expo is a free community event intended to provide information on how to be fire safe during this upcoming wildfire season. Each year, wildfire behavior progressively becomes more ferocious. Living in a mountain town means we need to be extra vigilant with our preparedness. Local agencies will be on-site to hand out preparedness information materials and other cool free schwag!

This is a FREE event for everyone, and kids are encouraged to attend. Come meet Smokey Bear! There will be a static display of local fire apparatus for everyone to take a close-up look as well as food trucks on site that will offer great food for sale.
