Eric Church heads to the South Shore for two shows at outdoor arena

Country music singer/songwriter Eric Church has announced the second half of his 2017 "Holdin' My Own" tour, and it begins on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe which he makes a stop at the Outdoor Concert Arena at Harveys on September 2 and 3.

Each show begins at 7:00 p.m.

Church's 62 stop tour has been thrilling audiences with three-hours of top music. It is unknown at this time what opening act(s), if any, will be with Church when he starts the final eight shows of 2017 in Lake Tahoe.

Ticketmaster will be selling tickets to the public on May 19.

Church is best known for his hits "Drink in My Hand," "Give Me Back My Hometown," "Like Jesus Does," and "Springsteen."

Church has a VIP Fan Club called "Church Choir" and members are privy to a large number of presale tickets. According to his website, they want to ensure Church Choir members get the best seats at face value and have developed a system to eliminate scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens.

"Furthermore, we have secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the presale," said the site.

Church's non-profit Chief Cares has helped 2.5 million people with charitable giving around the world. Platinum Seats for a some concerts give a guaranteed "great seat at the show" and all of the proceeds from this sale will go directly back to Chief Cares and towards changing the lives of those in need.

Iconic musician Paul Simon is bringing his U.S. Summer Tour to South Lake Tahoe on Sunday, June 25 as part of the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Concert Series at Harveys. Tickets for An Evening With Paul Simon go on sale March 17 on Ticketmaster though VIP packages are available starting March 14. The show starts at 8:00 p.m.

“California Reggae” band Rebelution will return on Friday evening, June 30. The popular band will be joined on their “Good Vibes” tour by Nahko and Medicine for the People; Collie Buddz; Hirie; and DJ Mackle. Tickets are $37.50 each for general admission.

Sammy Hagar & The Circle featuring Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson start off the July holiday weekend with their July 2 concert in the arena.

As part of their "Play That Song Tour," Train, O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield will stop by Lake Tahoe on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will range from $49.50 to $99.50.

Lenny Kravitz will be playing on July 14 for an 8:00 p.m. show. Pre-sale tickets went on sale March 22, and general public sales March 24.

On July 16, Third Eye Blind will perform on the South Shore Stage. For the first time in their storied history the band will play their debut album, considered one of the great rock records of all time, in its entirety. The night of music will also include their latest, We Are Drugs. Tickets are $45.41 to $91.28.

Popular singer-songwriter Jack Johnson has added a second show on the South Shore as part of the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Music Series at the Harveys Arena. His special blend of music will now be featured on both July 28 and 29. For the first time since 2014, Jack Johnson is taking his chart-topping catalog on the road for a North American summer tour with guests ALO. the end of his tour will be at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena. Tickets are $64.22 each.

Slightly Stoopid - Sounds Of Summer 2017 tour with Special Guests Iration, J Boog, The Movement makes a stop at he outdoor venue on Friday, August 4 starting at 5:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $37.50 each.

Iconic rockers The Who, considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, selling over 100 million records worldwide and holding a reputation for their live shows and studio work are scheduled for August 16. Tickets went on sale April 14.
