SLT Republican Women May 11 Meeting and Lunch

SLT Republican Women, Federated will host its May 11th luncheon meeting at Casey’s Restaurant, 212 Elks Point Road, Zephyr Cove (Next to Safeway).

Doors will open at 11:30 am and the meeting and lunch will begin at 12 pm. Duane Wallace, CEO of the South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, and David Jinkens, MPA, good government advocate & former SLT city manager will discuss the results from the May 2 City Council meeting. The meeting agenda items on the proposed Real Estate Vacancy Tax (on second Homes) and increased TOT as well as other important issues relating to possible funding options for affordable housing will be discussed.
