Tahoe Douglas Fire offering free homeowner defensible space assistance

The Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District (TDFPD) knows homeowners can't wait to get to their spring yard maintenance tasks and has resources available for creating defensible space, all at no cost to Tahoe Douglas fire area residents.

If you need some guidance on how to best defend your home, schedule a Defensible Space Inspection with TDFPD. They will walk the full area of your property, address any areas of concern, issue tree permits, and discuss the best practices for landscaping and yard maintenance. Schedule inspection HERE.
