Employers still needed at summer job fair for teens

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There is still room for businesses at the inaugural Tahoe Learning Haven (TLH) Student Summer Job Fair on Wednesday, May 10 from 6:45 p.m. - 9 p.m. Over 80 students are already signed up - now is the time to get your summer help!

This will be a free one-stop shopping event where students and businesses can connect on the spot.

The job fair is being held at the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe (1100 Lyons Ave., South Lake Tahoe).

TLH is helping teens, ages 14-18, create a simple resume, complete applications, interview, and complete their work permits.

In just 2.5 hours, students can leave with their perfect summer job and the employer can leave with their perfect employee.

Businesses that would like to participate in finding perfect student summer employees can email TLH at tahoelearninghaven@gmail.com. There are just a few spaces left for local businesses.

There will be free food and drink at the fair as well.
