Event Date:
May 12, 2018 - 9:00am
Help spruce up South Lake Tahoe neighborhoods and "Keep Tahoe Clean" on Saturday, May 12 during the 3rd annual Spring Cleanup day. Last year, 118 volunteers spent a morning picking up nearly 1,500 pounds of trash.
The Clean Tahoe Program and City of South Lake Tahoe are organizing the day, so get together with your friends, family and neighbors to remove litter from our community. Check-in at the cleanup locations will begin at 9:00 a.m. and volunteers will be assigned a stretch of road to clean. Afterwards, everyone will meet up at Bijou Park for a FREE lunch and celebration.
All cleanup supplies will be provided and children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Signature sponsors are the City of South Lake Tahoe and Harrah’s/Harveys Lake Tahoe, and many community partners and team captains including: Barton Health, Inversion Gym, Karen Kuentz, League to Save Lake Tahoe, Moose Lodge, Kelley Pedigo, Sierra Community Church, and Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless.
Please register and select your cleanup location for Saturday: http://clean-tahoe.org/spring-clean/
