Event Date:
May 12, 2014 (All day)
South Lake Tahoe locals and visitors alike can now rejoice as the fence surrounding "the hole" gets torn down during a community ceremony on Monday, May 12. The Chateau Project has received the go ahead from CalTrans to begin the streetscaping and sidewalk portion of construction.
When construction ended on The Chateau in 2008, little did anyone know it would take until 2014 to get to this point.
Owens Financial plan to have this phase of the project completed by June. The remaining phases will begin in the future, once a buyer comes in.
Monday's Event Details:
WHO: All community members are invited
WHEN: Monday, May 12th @ 9:00 AM
WHERE: Corner of Highway 50 and Stateline Avenue.
City of South Lake Tahoe City Councilmembers will be present for this celebration.
