Dr. Alan Reeder of LTUSD recognized with county-wide award

On Friday, May 10, the El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) and school district representatives gathered to celebrate the achievements of their most exceptional administrators at the annual Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) El Dorado County Chapter Awards Dinner. Held at Jack Russell Farm Brewery in Camino, the ceremony was a testament to educational excellence and a heartwarming evening filled with laughter and poignant moments.

The event was well attended, with teachers, administrators, and school leaders from all four corners of the county. As she opened the awards ceremony, Alison Lishman, El Dorado County Chapter President, noted, "Tonight, we honor the remarkable dedication and innovative spirit of our school administrators and administrative staff. Adding to the evening’s charm, the dinner was catered by John Sanders, owner of the beloved Old Town Grill in Placerville. Attendees were treated to gourmet dishes that added a local flavor to the night’s festivities.
