$25,000 donation made to American Red Cross during Meek's celebration

MEYERS, Calif. - Meek's Lumber held a grand reopening celebration on Wednesday at its Meyers location.

Part of the fun was the presentation of a check for $25,000 that was presented to the American Red Cross by the US LBM Foundation benefitting the Caldor Fire on behalf of Meeks Lumber. The foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by leading specialty building materials distributor US LBM.

The US LBM Foundation was created in 2013 to help those in need achieve their dreams. Being free from illness, owning a home, and rebuilding after a catastrophe are just a few of the many dreams they seek to make a reality through the Foundation.
