El Dorado County EMS personnel recognized during National EMS Week

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - El Dorado County takes great pride in honoring the dedication and unwavering commitment of our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals who serve as the safety net of our community’s healthcare system. This year, May 19 – 25, 2024 is recognized as National EMS Week, with the theme “Honoring Our Past, Forging Our Future.”

EMS week serves as a poignant reminder of the vital role EMS personnel play in safeguarding the health and well-being of our communities. As frontline responders, EMS providers exemplify courage, compassion, and resilience in every call they answer. Whether responding to emergencies, providing emergency medical transportation, or offering vital community support, our EMS providers serve with distinction and professionalism.
