City of South Lake Tahoe wants public input in rebranding campaign

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The City of South Lake Tahoe is in the midst of a rebranding campaign to better match goals outlined during their recent strategic planning retreat to their visual image.

Part of the rebranding will be a new logo to complement the current City seal.

They unveiled one possible new logo on social media Tuesday to get input from the public. According to the City's Communications Manager Chris Fiore, this logo was a first step and first draft and is by no means the finished product.

"It's a start," said Fiore.

They have gone through a few dozen logo ideas so far to come up with the one released Tuesday.

The final product will be one that shows the City's quest to be more customer service friendly.

Fiore said they would welcome any ideas from the art community or others in the public interested in being part of the process. Votes, comments and other ideas can be sent to logo@cityofslt.us.
