El Dorado Beach boat ramp at Lakeview Commons now open for season

The City of South Lake Tahoe owned boat ramp at El Dorado Beach is now open for the season.

Located at LakeView Commons at the corner of Highway 50 and Lakeview Avenue, the boat ramp is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the last launch at 4:30 p.m.

The ramp is open seasonally based on accessibility and the lake's water level. The boat ramp is open daily 8;00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. with the last launch at 4:30 pm.

The cost is $17.00 for a day use launch, $40.00 for a commercial day use launch and $138.00 for an annual pass. Fees are collected on-site with credit cards and debit cards only, no cash.

The maximum boat length is 22 feet. There are 35 boat trailer parking spots in the lot adjacent to the ramp, and they are available on a first come, first serve basis.

A boat inspection is required before entering Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Resource Conservation District (TRCD) is the managing agency of boat inspections before entering Lake Tahoe. The nearest boat inspection location is in Meyers at 2128 Keetak Street, on the South Shore near the intersection of Highways 89 and 50. Turn on Pomo St. off of HWY 89.
