Fox & Hound Tahoe Wins "Best Ribs" at San Juan Bautista Rib Cook Off.

Fox & Hound of South Lake Tahoe brought home honors from the May 18 San Juan Bautista Rib Cook Off. Eight award winning rib teams cooked up thousands of pounds of ribs and sauces for the festival goers and judges. The Fox & Hound won 1st Place for their ribs and 2nd Place for their sauce!
The local restaurant, located at the top of Kingsbury Grade on Tramway Drive, has just begun competing in cook-offs but they have been bringing home the trophies.
Owner Matt Grime said, "It was an exciting victory over this season’s competitors." Grime specializes in BBQ at Fox & Hound by slow smoking all meats with a blend of fruit and hard woods and using their special blend of dry rubs and sauces.
