Limited edition Between Horses and Humans apparel to raise funds for valuable program

Between Horses and Humans, the local non-profit that connects children with horses as a form of rehabilitation is fundraising through the sale of its logo clothing.
Located in Gardnerville, Nevada, this unique and one-of=a-kind program helps youth in the Douglas County and South Lake Tahoe areas.
“Lives Changed, Hearts Healed” has been the tagline for the program and is truly the hope for each child that enters the program. Between Horses and Humans (BHH) has developed an innovative community-based intervention program for troubled children and youth, using the unique bond between horses and humans to help them overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, through horsemanship. While BHH is not therapy, they use the rehabilitative powers of horses to teach vulnerable kids successful relationship skills and mental/emotional resilience. This was the inspiration for the design of this special t-shirt with the horse in the heart designed by volunteer and board member Laura Maffitt.
