Douglas County Sheriff's deputies arrest four Bay Area men on suspicion of e-bike thefts

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - Four men were arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) on Sunday, May 26 after an investigation into a series of e-bike thefts across the county.

DCSO deputies identified several suspects driving a white Dodge panel van. The four suspects were located at Walmart in Gardnerville, and when DCSO found them four e-bikes were recovered with a value of approximately $5,900.

Deputies arrested:

Victor Anguiano from San Pablo, Calif., age 29, bail was set at $53,149 Emmanuel Villagomez-Morales from San Pablo, Calif., age 31, bail was set at $58,152
Angel Ruiz-Arroyo from San Pablo, Calif., age 26, bail was set at $44,283
Jesus Garcia from Richmond, Calif., age 38, bail was set at $48,155

All four individuals were booked into the Douglas County Jail for Burglary, Conspiracy, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possessing Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Home Invasion.
