Registration open for Tahoe Youth & Family Services' Carson Valley Days 5K run

Dust off those shoes and join the Tahoe Youth & Family Services Carson Valley Days 5k run-jog-walk on Saturday, June 12 at the beginning of the annual parade, the perfect time to have fun, wear a costume, and support a worthy cause. This is the first in-person run the non-profit that serves South Lake Tahoe and Douglas County has been able to host since the pandemic began.

The run is also the conclusion to their Triple Challenge for Recovery which started with a virtual event in September 2020. The second leg was another virtual challenge, Minutes For Recovery, in March 2021. This final event, Moving For Recovery, will be held during Carson Valley Days 2021.

Everyone can participate, from young to old, and participation in the other two of the challenge runs is not required.

Medals will be given out to the first 125 who sign-up for the in-person race. Sign up now, if you cannot make it to the in-person event, you can participate in a 5k on your own at a location of your choice between June 1 and June 12.
