SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Disney's smash hit movie comes to life on the South Tahoe High stage as the student thespians present their spring musical production June 9-11.
The high-energy "Disney's High School Musical" will feature the same songs and dances everyone has come to love on the big screen - "We're Breaking Free," "Stick To The Status Quo," and "We're All In This Together." Enjoy the singing and dancing you saw in the movie.
The musical is about Troy and Gabriella, and their classmates of fictional East High, as they deal with the issues of first love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities.
The spring production has four performances: June 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. and June 12 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are available at sths.myschoolcentral.com, at South Tahoe High School, and at the door of the PABA Theater. It is suggested tickets are purchased early as performances tend to sell out.
Disney's High School Musical is directed by Bob Grant and Liz "Niv" Niven.
